How does a ceramic cooktop work?
This Hanabishi induction cooker features a ceramic heating plate, with metal heating coils underneath tempered ceramic glass. When the heating coils receive electricity, they heat up and transfer this heat to the ceramic plate. Note that ceramic cooktops retain a lot of heat after you turn it off. Be mindful not to touch the cooktop’s surface immediately after cooking. For this reason, Hanabishi added a child lock safety to help prevent accidents.

Keeping your induction cooker clean is one of the best ways to extend its lifespan. To clean this Hanabishi induction cooker, all you need is a regular rag or cleaning cloth. After allowing the ceramic surface to cool down, simply wipe it to remove any splatters and spills. If there are dried-up liquids or food debris, you can use a dampen the cloth to wipe the grime off. If needed, spray a bit of dishwashing liquid and let it sit for a few minutes before gently scrubbing and rinsing.
